Is the movie "Super 8" a loose remake of Iron Giant?

Judging by the trailer of Super 8, the movies appear to be somehow
related, and it doesn't seem to be a coincidence. Iron Giant had
military in it that were looking for a alien, robot monster or thing,
and super 8 appears to as well. The main person is a young kid, in
both movies. In both movies there is a train. The military wants to
destroy the monster or thing. And is both movies the monster or thing
appears to be attacking the military. Oh, and both movies take place
in the past and appear to take place in a town.

Trying to figure a song out?

I was in a car yesterday with some friends and a song came on that I
dug but can't figure it out for the life of me. All I can think of is
it sort of sounded like t-pain, but I know it wasn't. I could be
wrong. The crappy part is I don't remember much of the lyrics except
for something about being your man and you being my woman, they
mentioned dancing in the club. I know, tough. It has to be pretty
recent too. Very dance/cluby type of song.

Hand fatigue when playing certain things on guitar. How do I get rid of this?

I can practice for an hour and not feel anything in my left hand, but
as soon as start playing certain chord progressions or patterns my
left hand gives out. For example, when I play "Snow" by Red Hot Chili
Peppers my hand starts hurting within a minute. Why is this? Am I
doing something wrong? Should I push myself and try to increase my

I currently am writing a song in garageband. I have taken guitar

I dream of being a singer/songwriter.
Problem: I live in New Jersey =( California is so far away! I want to

Need help with vintage alto saxophones?

Right now i'm going into 9th grade but i really want a new alto sax.
now i have the yamaha yas-23 and its a beginner. im quickly excelling,
i take lessons, have won many scholarships, and am in jazz band. I
want a new sax because i want something more professional and i don't
want my sax to get beat up in marching band. I'm thinking about buying
a used one because i cant afford a new one. The only saxes i really
find are vintage and i just fell in love with the Selmer Paris mark VI
but of course its really expensive. What are some other good brands or
models of vintage saxes? and What are some websites that i can find
used pro saxes such as the Yamaha 875EX?
I also want it so i dont have to carry one back and forth. i will have
one at school and one at home.

In the movie Bring It On, (when they are in the car) one of the guys
says "Courtney does't wear anything under her spankies." and then he
is like "I can't help it if my digits slip occasionally" and they
start laughing. Is he talking about fingering her or something? Or
what else is he talking about? Clue me in please. Thanks!

Writing a song for my friends birthday?

My friend and I have been friends for quite a while. She means the
world to me. Without her I would be like a lost lamb in the night not
knowing where to go or what to do. She is the one that helps me
through my problems. Shes my Sister from another Mistress (: haha
I want to do something REALLY special for her birthday. I want to

I have NO clue how to start though. I mean, I have no clue what to do.

I watched episode 6 and it didn't make sense to me. I assumed that
luke went back to yoda to finish is training. But after he rescued Han
and leia he goes back and said "I'm ready to finish the training." And
how long was the gap between 5 and 6? I heard it was a year and I also
heard it was 4 years.
