KinoSmith takes 'In My Mother's Arms'
PARIS -- Canadian distrib KinoSmith has nabbed all rights to Atea and Mohamed Al Daradji's "Throughout My Mother's Arms." Repped by Wide Management's docu branch Wide House, the film will probably be theatrically released in Canada in the year. Pic bowed Wednesday inside the Real to Reel section within the Toronto Film Festival. Anais Clanet, Wide House's sales topper, mentioned a U.S. deal have been talked about. Docu triggers two boys who've lost their parents inside the war and reside in an orphanage in one of Baghdad's most dangerous neighborhood. Mohamed Al Daradji formerly directed "Boy of Babylon." Wide has furthermore inked a thrilling-rights deal with Russia's Carmen Film on "American Translation," a suspenser helmed by Pascal Arnold and Jean-Marc Barr.
